First week after the summer break, are we feeling rejuvenated yet? I’m certainly feeling ready to jump start the last semester, can’t believe it’s almost been two years since I started this graphic designer course and journey. I’m really looking forward to see where I end up by the new year.
This week we’re studying the principles of animation. I did a little sneak peek right before summer, and I’m very inspired by rubber hose style. I just think they are so bouncy and fun.
I created this character based on a current crises in my life, my wardrobe. In this day and age of sustainability I’m trying to make life simpler by having a defined “style”, so there wouldn’t be any questions when shopping and also limiting shopping. This character, Anna, is a Parisian inspired woman, she enjoys life, drink coffee and writes.
I used to draw a lot of anime style when I was younger and expressions are so fun! For later I will practice more expressions in the leather hosen style, because I don’t feel like these anime-ish style of expressions sits quite right with the Anna brand.
